On the global market, prices on both the London and New York exchanges rose simultaneously on September 23, 2025.
Specifically, Robusta prices on the London exchange for September 2025 delivery jumped by $ 145 (equivalent to 3.51%) to $ 4,280/ton. The January 2026 contract also surged by $ 139 (or 3.40%) to $ 4,228/ton.
Meanwhile, on the New York exchange, Arabica prices for September 2025 delivery inched up by 1.75 cents (equivalent to 0.48%) to 368.25 cents/lb. The March 2026 contract rose by 2.4 cents (or 0.69%) to 348.65 cents/lb.

Global coffee prices are rising strongly on the London exchange, pulling Arabica upward as well. The main drivers are the weakening US dollar and concerns over reduced supply in the near future.
Heavy rainfall in Vietnam’s Central Highlands, forecast to last through the remainder of the month, may affect the fruit-setting process, thereby reducing Robusta supply in the coming period.
Coffee prices are also supported by drought conditions in Brazil. According to weather agency Somar Meteorologia, Minas Gerais—the largest Arabica-producing state in Brazil—received only 10.5 mm of rain in the week ending September 20, equivalent to just 73% of the historical average.

Traders noted that the market also received support from roasters buying in as prices hit intraday lows.

In Vietnam, the domestic coffee market on September 23, 2025, rose sharply compared to yesterday.
Specifically, in Lam Dong province, the Di Linh, Bao Loc, and Lam Ha areas are all trading at VND 112,500/kg.
In Dak Lak province, the Cu Mgar area today is purchasing coffee at VND 113,000/kg, while the Ea Hleo and Buon Ho areas are trading at VND 112,900/kg.
In Dak Nong province, traders in Gia Nghia and Dak Rlap are trading at VND 113,200/kg and VND 113,100/kg, respectively.
In Gia Lai province, the Chu Prong area is trading at VND 113,000/kg, while Pleiku and La Grai are maintaining levels of VND 112,900/kg.
Meanwhile, coffee purchasing prices in Kon Tum province today stand at VND 112,900/kg.
