(VAN) Coffee prices on 10/31/2024 have rebounded. Domestic coffee prices specifically rose slightly by VND 200, trading around VND 109,000 – 109,600/kg.
Coffee prices on October 31 globally
On the global market, both the London and New York exchanges saw coffee prices increase on October 31.
Specifically, Robusta coffee prices on the London exchange for January 2025 delivery rose by $ 55 (or 1.25%), reaching $ 4,453/ton. The March 2025 delivery also saw a significant increase of $ 51 (or 1.18%), bringing prices to $ 4,363/ton.
Meanwhile, on the New York exchange, Arabica coffee prices for December 2024 delivery increased slightly by 1.5 cents (or 0.6%), returning to 249.60 cents/lb. The March 2025 delivery saw a similar rise of 1.8 cents (or 0.73%), reaching 249.05 cents/lb.
World coffee prices rebounded on October 31 following a dip in the previous session. However, the increase remained limited due to the Brazilian Real’s drop to its lowest level in two and a half months against the USD, encouraging Brazilian coffee producers to increase sales.
Thus, global coffee prices turned upward on 10/31/2024, compared to the previous day.
Coffee prices on October 31 domestically
In Vietnam, the domestic coffee market showed a slight increase of VND 200/kg today.
In Lam Dong province, the districts of Di Linh, Bao Loc, and Lam Ha are trading at VND 109,000/kg.
In Dak Lak, Cu M’gar district is purchasing coffee at VND 109,500/kg, while Ea H’leo and Buon Ho districts are trading at VND 109,400/kg.
In Dak Nong, traders in Gia Nghia and Dak R’lap are buying at VND 109,600/kg and VND 109,500/kg, respectively.
In Gia Lai province, Chu Prong district is trading at VND 109,300/kg, while Pleiku and La Grai districts hold steady at VND 109,200/kg.
In Kon Tum, the purchasing price today stands at VND 109,300/kg.
Domestic coffee prices today have risen again but have yet to recover to reach the VND 111,000/kg threshold.
Thus, on 10/31/2024, domestic coffee prices are trading around the VND 109,000 – 109,600/kg range.
