(VAN) Coffee prices on November 13, 2024, continue to rise. Domestic coffee prices increased by VND 1,200, reaching the range of VND 110,800 – 110,900/kg.

Globally, both the London and New York exchanges continue to rise significantly on November 13.
In particular, the price of Robusta on the London exchange for January 2025 delivery rose by $ 61 (equivalent to 1.36%), reaching $ 4,537/ton. Meanwhile, the March 2025 delivery also saw a strong increase of $ 49 (equivalent to 1.11%), reaching $ 4,461/ton.
On the New York exchange, Arabica prices for December 2024 delivery surged by 7.35 cents (equivalent to 2.87%), reaching 263.55 cents/lb. The March 2025 delivery increased by 7.25 cents (equivalent to 2.83%), reaching 263.10 cents/lb.
Global coffee prices continue their strong upward trend today, driven by unfavourable monetary factors as the USD remains at a high level.
Additionally, Vietnam’s coffee export figures have been low in recent months, intensifying concerns about supply. In October 2024, Vietnam exported only 44,000 tons. For the first 10 months of 2024, total exports reached just 1.15 million tons, a decrease of 11.2% compared to the same period last year.
On top of this, continuous storms with heavy rains targeting Vietnam’s key growing regions have raised further concerns about potential supply disruptions.
Thus, global coffee prices on November 13, 2024, have continued to rise sharply compared to yesterday.
Coffee prices on November 13 domestically
Domestically, the coffee market on November 13 has increased by an additional VND 1,600 compared to yesterday.
Specifically, in Lam Dong province, the districts of Di Linh, Bao Loc, and Lam Ha are all trading at VND 110,800/kg.
In Dak Lak, Cu M’gar district is buying at VND 110,800/kg today, while Ea H’leo and Buon Ho districts are trading at VND 110,700/kg.
In Dak Nong province, traders in Gia Nghia and Dak R’lap are trading at VND 110,900/kg and VND 110,800/kg, respectively.
In Gia Lai province, Chu Prong district is trading at VND 110,800/kg, while Pleiku and La Grai are holding steady at VND 110,700/kg.
Meanwhile, the purchase price in Kon Tum today stands at VND 110,800/kg.
Domestic coffee prices continue their strong upward trend today, bringing this agricultural product close to the threshold of VND 111,000/kg.
Thus, domestic coffee prices on November 13, 2024, are trading around the range of VND 110,800 – 110,900/kg.
