Coffee prices on January 20 domestically

Today, January 20, 2025, domestic coffee prices continue to record a strong upward trend, reaching the highest level since the beginning of the year. In the key coffee-growing areas of the Central Highlands, purchase prices range from VND 119,300 to VND 120,500/kg, an increase of VND 300–700/kg compared to yesterday.

• Coffee prices in Dak Nong: Prices in Gia Nghia and Dak R’lap reach the highest levels, trading at VND 120,000–120,500/kg.
• Coffee prices in Dak Lak: In Cu M’gar, Ea H’leo, and Buon Ho districts, today’s coffee prices are VND 119,800–120,000/kg.
• Coffee prices in Gia Lai: Purchase prices in Chu Prong, Pleiku, and La Grai range from VND 119,700 to 119,800/kg.
• Coffee prices in Lam Dong: Prices in Di Linh, Lam Ha, and Bao Loc remain the lowest in the region, at VND 119,300/kg.

Thus, domestic coffee prices have returned to the VND 120,000/kg mark, a positive sign for the market just days before the Lunar New Year. This is also the time when farmers and businesses are ramping up sales to meet the high consumption demand during the holiday season.

On the global market, Robusta and Arabica coffee prices continue their upward trend, supported by supply shortages and low inventory levels.

• March 2025 delivery: $ 5,006/ton, up $ 117/ton from the previous session.
• May 2025 delivery: $ 4,962/ton, up $ 116/ton.
• July 2025 delivery: $ 4,881/ton, up $ 120/ton.

Arabica coffee prices on the New York exchange

• March 2025 delivery: 328.35 cents/lb, up 1.2 cents/lb.
• May 2025 delivery: 324.60 cents/lb, up 1.45 cents/lb.
• July 2025 delivery: 318.25 cents/lb, up 1.3 cents/lb.

Arabica coffee prices from Brazil on the B3 exchange

• March 2025 delivery: $ 406/ton, a slight increase from the previous session.
• May 2025 delivery: $ 400/ton.
