Coffee prices today, March 18, 2025, continue to record a strong upward trend in both the global and domestic markets. Coffee prices on March 18 globally

On the global market, coffee prices have simultaneously increased on both major exchanges, London (Robusta) and New York (Arabica). This price surge is supported by factors such as adverse weather conditions in Brazil, tight supply, and rising consumption demand in major markets like the US, Europe, and Asia.

Robusta coffee prices (London)

• May 2025 delivery: $ 5,474/ton, up $ 77/ton (+1.45%).
• July 2025 delivery: $ 5,451/ton, up $ 74/ton (+1.38%).
• September 2025 delivery: $ 5,387/ton, up $ 69/ton.
• November 2025 delivery: $ 5,292/ton, up $ 67/ton.

Coffee prices on March 18 domestically

In the domestic market, coffee prices today also recorded a slight increase following the global trend, ranging from VND 131,000 – 133,000/kg. This is the highest price in many months, bringing good profits to farmers.

Coffee prices rose slightly after several previous declining sessions, increasing by VND 700 – 1,000/kg. The average purchase price is currently at VND 132,800/kg.

Specifically, today’s coffee price in Dak Lak is at VND 132,700/kg, in Lam Dong at VND 131,000/kg, in Gia Lai at VND 132,700/kg, and in Dak Nong at VND 133,000/kg.

Domestic coffee price outlook

• Supporting factors for price increase: Prolonged dry weather and strong coffee consumption demand in international markets, especially for Robusta coffee.
• Challenges: Strict regulations on pesticide residue levels in the EU, Japan, and South Korea are putting significant pressure on Vietnam’s coffee industry.
