Globally, coffee prices on both the London and New York exchanges saw a sharp decline on May 21, 2025.
Specifically, Robusta coffee prices on the London exchange for July 2025 delivery dropped sharply by $ 70 (equivalent to 1.41%), to $ 4,903/ton. Meanwhile, the September 2025 contract fell by $ 67 (1.35%) to $ 4,895/ton.
On the New York exchange, Arabica coffee for July 2025 delivery reversed and dropped by 5.4 cents (1.44%) to 369.30 cents/lb. The September 2025 contract also decreased by 5.05 cents (2.47%) to 366.40 cents/lb.

Global coffee prices turned sharply lower today due to pressure from rising supply.
The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) forecasts Brazil’s coffee production for the 2025–2026 crop year to reach 65 million bags, up 0.5% from the previous season. Arabica is expected to decline by 6.4% to 40.9 million bags, while Robusta is projected to increase by 14.76% to 24.1 million bags. Exports are forecast to drop by 6.18% to 38 million bags, while domestic consumption is expected to rise by 1.41% to 22.28 million bags.
Thus, global coffee prices on May 21, 2025, declined sharply compared to the previous day.

In Lam Dong province, the three districts of Di Linh, Bao Loc, and Lam Ha are all trading at VND 125,000/kg.
In Dak Lak, traders in Cu M’gar district are buying coffee at VND 125,500/kg. Meanwhile, in Ea H’leo and Buon Ho districts, prices are at VND 125,400/kg.
In Dak Nong province, traders in Gia Nghia and Dak R’lap are trading at VND 125,700/kg and VND 125,600/kg, respectively.
In Gia Lai province, Chu Prong district is trading at VND 126,500/kg, while Pleiku and La Grai districts are holding at VND 125,400/kg.
In Kon Tum, today’s coffee purchase price is VND 125,400/kg.
Domestic coffee prices today also dropped sharply by VND 1,000, falling back below the VND 126,000/kg mark.
Thus, coffee prices in the domestic market on May 21, 2025, are ranging between VND 125,000 – 125,700/kg.
