Globally, the latest pepper prices on April 16 showed only slight declines in Indonesia.
Accordingly, the price of black pepper (Lampung) in Indonesia dropped by 0.24%, to $ 7,064/ton. Meanwhile, the price of white pepper (Muntok) decreased by 0.25%, to $ 9,651/ton.
In Malaysia, the price of Kuching ASTA black pepper was $ 9,600/ton, while white pepper ASTA held steady at $ 12,100/ton.
In the Brazilian market, black pepper ASTA 570 was traded at around $ 6,850/ton.
In Vietnam, the export price of black pepper grade 500 g/l was at $ 6,600/ton, while grade 550 g/l stood at $ 6,800/ton. Meanwhile, the export price of white pepper was at $ 9,600/ton.

Pepper prices in Dak Nong reached VND 158,000/kg, up by VND 1,500.
Similarly, pepper prices in Gia Lai today climbed to VND 155,500/kg.
Traders in Dong Nai purchased pepper at VND 156,000/kg, up by VND 1,000.
Pepper prices in Ba Ria – Vung Tau also increased by VND 1,000 today, reaching VND 156,000/kg.
Traders in Binh Phuoc traded at VND 155,500/kg, up by VND 1,500.
Domestic pepper prices rose sharply today by VND 1,000–1,500, pushing this agricultural product to VND 158,000/kg.
