On the global market, prices on the London and New York exchanges moved unevenly on September 12, 2025.
Specifically, Robusta prices on the London exchange for September 2025 delivery rose by $ 44 (equivalent to 0.94%), reaching $ 4,737/ton. The November 2025 contract also gained $ 44 (or 0.98%), standing at $ 4,521/ton.
Meanwhile, on the New York exchange, Arabica prices for September 2025 delivery reversed downward by 0.95 cents (equivalent to 0.24%), to 400.05 cents/lb. The December 2025 contract slipped slightly by 0.8 cents (or 0.21%), to 386.10 cents/lb.

Global coffee prices today continued their upward momentum on the London exchange but edged down slightly on the New York exchange.
Rabobank noted that coffee prices are continuing to rise—albeit at a slower pace – driven by tight supply, U.S. tariffs, and Brazil’s downgraded 2025 Arabica crop forecast. However, the outlook for Brazil’s 2026–2027 Arabica crop is seen as favorable, which could influence price movements ahead.

The U.S. Climate Prediction Center reported that neutral ENSO conditions are likely to shift into La Niña, with a 71% probability between October and December. Brazil’s coffee exports to the U.S. in August dropped 46% year-on-year due to the 50% tariff imposed by President Trump’s administration.
The legality of these tariffs will be reviewed by the U.S. Supreme Court in November. Traders in Vietnam remain optimistic about the upcoming harvest, while Indonesia is facing difficulties due to weather conditions.

In the domestic market, coffee prices on September 12, 2025, continued to rise compared with yesterday.
Specifically, in Lam Dong province, the Di Linh, Bao Loc, and Lam Ha areas are all trading at VND 117,800/kg.
In Dak Lak province, the Cu M’gar area is purchasing coffee today at VND 118,200/kg, while the Ea H’leo and Buon Ho areas are trading at VND 118,100/kg.
In Dak Nong province (Lam Dong), traders in Gia Nghia and Dak R’lap are trading at VND 118,500/kg and VND 118,400/kg, respectively.
In Gia Lai province, the Chu Prong area is trading at VND 118,000/kg, while Pleiku and La Grai are maintaining VND 117,900/kg.
Meanwhile, the coffee purchase price in Kon Tum province (Quang Ngai) today is VND 117,900/kg.
