Ms. Tran Thi Xa, Director of Dam Doi Ba Khia Cooperative, checks the dryness of shrimp. When the shrimp meets standards, the meat will separate from the shell and will be easy to peel.
According to Ms. Xa, the facility will start producing dried black tiger shrimp products from 2024, but it is only this year that the market will become well known. Thanks to its beautiful design and superior quality compared to many other types of dried shrimp, although the price is quite high, the product is still ordered in large quantities by customers.
“We want to create products that are well received by the market, while increasing the value of black tiger shrimp, helping farmers have a stable income,” she said.
