Can ThoLeaving information technology, Nguyen Minh Tung, 33 years old, many years of researching and improving the model of beekeeping to take multi-storey honey in the direction of organic, collecting 300-500 million VND per month.
At beekeeping facility in Truong An hamlet (Truong Khanh commune, Long Phu district, former Soc Trang province), hundreds of barrels of bees placed neatly and continuously for honey. This is also the place where Mr. Tung prepared and packed to provide products to customers across the country.
Graduated from information technology at a college in Can Tho in 2013, but passion for agriculture made Tung turn. In 2015, with 15 million dong, he bought 10 barrels of bees to try.

Due to lack of experience, he continuously failed 8 times, due to the wrong design of the barrel, choosing the farming area to the care process. Not giving up, he learned domestic and foreign documents, adjusted the design, changed the way to take care of the local climate.
The first liters of honey were given to friends and relatives and received positive feedback. From a few barrels of bees initially, he expanded to 350 honey bees. In 2017, he founded the company, applied a two -storey – lower -layer raising barrel for bees to reproduce and the upper floor to accumulate honey.
“This way helps to ripen naturally, pure over 90%, while limiting the impact on the bees, maintaining a stable output,” he said.
In addition, the breeding box is improved to release heat well, helping bees to operate even when the weather is severe. On average, each barrel gives 7-10 kg of bile per month, exploiting 6-8 months per year, focusing on two peak seasons from January to July and from November to January next year.

In 2019, he invested hundreds of millions of dong to build a modern preliminary processing workshop with lower parts, filters, packaging machines … Thanks to that, the product is more diverse, including pure honey, honey water, beeswax … Each month, the facility supplies 1-2 tons of honey for 440,000 VND per liter, revenue of 300-500 million VND, profit of 25-30%. He also associated with two other beekeeping facilities to stabilize the source of raw materials.
In addition to honey bees, Mr. Tung raised more than 1,000 flocks of bees – a special aroma species, the price of about 3 million per liter. He also sells varieties, technical training and transferring beekeeping models to people, and participating in local community projects.

According to Mr. Tung, newcomers need to prepare a wooden beekeeping barrel (500,000 VND per set), located near the source of honey and pollen, buy seeds and feed the old honey or the early stages, then let the bee self -feed. When the wax is sealed with the nest hole, the bile harvest can be harvested. In addition to buying available varieties, can lure bees with foam containers or stumps in the garden to save capital.
In the coming time, he aims to expand the scale and promote distribution through e -commerce channels and clean agricultural supermarket systems.
