Live pig prices on May 20 in the North

The live pig market in the North remained unchanged compared to yesterday.

Accordingly, pig prices in Yen Bai, Lao Cai, Ha Nam, and Ninh Binh continued to trade at VND 67,000/kg – the lowest in the region.

Meanwhile, traders in Bac Giang were still purchasing at VND 69,000/kg – the highest level in the region.

In other localities, the live pig prices remained at VND 68,000/kg.

Thus, live pig prices in Northern Vietnam on May 20, 2025, ranging from 67,000 to 69,000 VND/kg.

Live pig prices on May 20 in Central Vietnam and the Central Highlands

The live pig market in the Central and Central Highlands regions saw slight decreases in some areas compared to yesterday.

Specifically, pig prices in Binh Dinh and Khanh Hoa both dropped by 1,000 VND, bringing the purchase price down to 69,000 VND/kg.

Meanwhile, traders in Binh Thuan continued to trade at 73,000 VND/kg – the highest in the region.

Live pig prices in other localities are still anchored around the range of 68,000 – 72,000 VND/kg.

Thus, live pig prices in the Central and Central Highlands regions on May 20, 2025, are being purchased in the range of 67,000 – 73,000 VND/kg.

Live pig prices on May 20 in the South

The live pig market in the South remained stable compared to yesterday.

In particular, pig prices in Binh Phuoc, Ho Chi Minh City, Binh Duong, Tay Ninh, Kien Giang, and Soc Trang continued trading at 73,000 VND/kg – the lowest level in the region.

Traders in Long An, Tien Giang, and Ben Tre are still purchasing at 75,000 VND/kg – the highest price in the region and nationwide.

Live pig prices in other southern localities remained at 74,000 VND/kg.

Thus, live pig prices in the South on May 20, 2025, are ranging from 73,000 to 75,000 VND/kg.
