On the global market, rubber prices are showing an upward trend today, May 28, 2025.
At the time of the survey, RSS3 rubber on the Tokyo Commodity Exchange (TOCOM) for May 2025 delivery increased sharply by JPY 10.2 (3.2%) to JPY 333.2/kg.
Meanwhile, on the Shanghai Futures Exchange (SHFE), natural rubber for June 2025 delivery rose slightly by CNY 25 (0.2%) to CNY 14,335/kg.
In Thailand, the rubber price for June contracts remains steady at THB 74.95/kg.
Global rubber prices continue to rise in Japan and China while remaining flat in Thailand.
For the full year 2024, exports are projected to reach $4.99 billion, up 17.3%. However, farmers still face many challenges due to price fluctuations.

Latest domestic and global rubber prices on May 28, 2025
Mr. Thammarat Thongmee, Director-General of the Rubber Authority, has called on businesses to temporarily suspend imports of concentrated latex to reduce the impact on farmers, in accordance with the Rubber Control Act of 1999.
In Malaysia, the state of Sabah is revitalizing its rubber industry through modernization initiatives such as high-tech storage facilities and advanced tapping techniques.
Thus, global rubber prices on May 28, 2025, have mostly increased compared to the previous day.
Rubber prices on May 28 domestically
In the domestic market, latex prices remain stable compared to yesterday.
According to the latest listed prices, raw latex at Mang Yang Company is trading between VND 397 and VND 401/TSC, while mixed coagulated latex is being purchased at around VND 359 to VND 409/DRC.
At Ba Ria Rubber Company, the purchase price for fresh latex is VND 462/TSC; coagulated latex with a DRC content of 35–44% is priced at VND 13,600/kg, and raw latex materials are trading between VND 16,900 and VND 18,200/kg.
The most recent quotation from Phu Rieng Rubber Company shows mixed latex priced at VND 405/DRC, and fresh latex at VND 440/TSC.
Thus, as of May 28, 2025, domestic rubber prices are trading in the range of VND 397 to VND 462/TSC.
