Latest update on Arabica and Robusta prices on June 19, 2025

Global coffee prices continued their sharp decline today. Robusta fell to a one-year low, while Arabica hit a five-month low as speculators sold off heavily amid ongoing geopolitical instability in the Middle East.

The steep drop in this agricultural commodity also stemmed from increased supply out of Brazil and Indonesia as both countries entered harvest season, coupled with a withdrawal of investment funds from the market.

Marcelo Melchior, CEO of Nestlé Brazil, noted that coffee prices in Brazil have fallen following a sharp speculative surge, and the current trend suggests that raw material prices will keep declining—unless frost impacts the upcoming crop.
