Globally, coffee prices on the London and New York exchanges showed mixed movements on July 11, 2025.
On the London exchange, Robusta coffee for September 2025 delivery dropped sharply by $150 (equivalent to 4.32%) to $3,320/ton. The November 2025 contract also fell significantly by $136 (equivalent to 3.99%), settling at $3,274/ton.
Meanwhile, on the New York exchange, Arabica coffee for September 2025 delivery surged by 3.75 cents (equivalent to 1.32%), reaching 287.80 cents/lb. The December 2025 contract rose by another 3.05 cents (equivalent to 1.09%), hitting 282.10 cents/lb.

Global coffee prices today continued to surge on the New York exchange after U.S. President Donald Trump announced a decision to raise tariffs on Brazilian goods to 50% starting August 1. The move has sparked concerns that higher tariffs may disrupt the supply of Arabica coffee from Brazil. Meanwhile, Robusta prices continued to plummet—losing as much as 4%—due to abundant supply.
The U.S. plans to impose new tariffs on coffee imports from Brazil, which could lead to short-term supply shortages in the world’s largest consuming market. However, experts warn that high tariffs may reduce demand for consumption in the long term.

In the domestic market, coffee prices on July 11, 2025, continued to decline sharply compared to yesterday.
Specifically, in Lam Dong Province, the areas of Di Linh, Bao Loc, and Lam Ha all trade at the same level of VND 90,300/kg.
In Dak Lak Province, the Cu M’gar area currently purchases coffee at VND 90,600/kg. Meanwhile, the Ea H’leo and Buon Ho areas are trading at VND 90,500/kg.
In Dak Nong (a province in Lam Dong), traders in Gia Nghia and Dak R’lap are trading at VND 90,700/kg and VND 90,600/kg, respectively.
In Gia Lai Province, the Chu Prong area trades at VND 90,500/kg, while Pleiku and La Grai maintain a level of VND 90,400/kg.
The purchase price of coffee in Kon Tum (a province in Quang Ngai) today is VND 90,400/kg.
Domestic coffee prices dropped another VND 1,200 today, bringing the commodity down to around VND 90,000/kg. Since the beginning of the week, this agricultural product has lost nearly VND 6,000.
