Rubber prices on December 10 globally
On the global market, prices on both the Tocom and SHFE exchanges are trending down.
At the time of the survey, the price of RSS3 at the Tokyo Commodity Exchange (TOCOM) for January 2025 delivery dropped by JPY 2.5 to 341/kg. For March 2025 delivery, it decreased further by JPY 1.2 to JPY 347.90/kg.
At the Shanghai Futures Exchange (SHFE), the price of natural rubber for January 2025 delivery decreased by CNY 155 to CNY 18,355/ton. For March 2025 delivery, it dropped by CNY 180 to CNY 18,520/ton.

Today, global rubber prices have slightly decreased due to some profit-taking activities.
In China, November inflation has reached its lowest level in five months, while the ongoing decline in production prices persists despite recent government efforts to stimulate the economy.
The world’s second-largest economy is at risk of facing new tariffs from Donald Trump’s second term, while still dealing with other adverse factors, indicating the need for further policy stimulus measures to support its fragile growth, according to Reuters.
As of December 5, the production capacity of China’s semi-steel tyre companies was 78.92%, down 0.72 percentage points from the previous month and 0.3 percentage points lower than the same period last year.
Rubber inventory at Qingdao, China, as of November 29, reached 294,100 tons, a decrease of 4,900 tons compared to the previous period.
Thus, global rubber prices on December 10, 2024, have slightly decreased compared to yesterday.
Rubber prices on December 10 domestically
In the domestic market, the price of rubber has slightly increased compared to yesterday.
According to the latest quoted prices, the price of raw rubber at Mang Yang Company remains from VND 434 to VND 438/TSC; the price for frozen mixed rubber is around VND 387 to VND 441/DRC.
At Ba Ria Rubber Company, the price for latex is between VND 444 and VND 454/TSC (an increase of VND 7), while frozen DRC rubber with a 35-44% purity is priced at VND 13,500/kg (up VND 200); raw rubber is priced from VND 16,700 to VND 18,000/kg (up VND 200).
The latest quote from Phu Rieng Rubber Company ranges from VND 415/DRC for mixed rubber and VND 455/TSC for latex.
Thus, the latest domestic rubber price on December 10, 2024, is being purchased at around VND 434 – 455/TSC.
