Globally, coffee prices on the London and New York exchanges showed mixed movements on May 16, 2025.
On the London exchange, Robusta coffee for July 2025 delivery dropped by $39 (equivalent to 0.78%) to $4,971/ton. The September 2025 contract also slipped by $27 (0.54%) to $4,960/ton.
Meanwhile, on the New York exchange, Arabica coffee for July 2025 delivery rebounded by 10.20 cents (2.8%) to reach 375 cents/lb. The September 2025 contract rose sharply by 9.55 cents (2.64%) to 371.35 cents/lb.

Global coffee prices today continue to decline on the London exchange while rebounding strongly on the New York exchange.
As of May 14, Robusta stocks monitored by ICE reached the highest level in 7.5 months, at 4,755 lots (equivalent to 47,550 tons), compared to 42,250 tons at the end of April and 41,130 tons in the same period last year.
In Indonesia, Robusta Sumatra coffee is being offered at a $20 discount to the May contract, down from $70 last week, according to a trader.
Thus, global coffee prices on May 16, 2025, are showing mixed movements compared to the previous session.

In Vietnam, the domestic coffee market edged up slightly compared to yesterday.

Specifically, in Lam Dong province, coffee in Di Linh, Bao Loc, and Lam Ha districts is being traded at VND 125,900/kg.
In Dak Lak, traders in Cu M’gar district purchase coffee at VND 126,200/kg, while Ea H’leo and Buon Ho districts trade at VND 126,100/kg.
In Dak Nong province, traders in Gia Nghia and Dak R’lap are transacting at VND 126,200/kg and VND 126,100/kg, respectively.
In Gia Lai province, Chu Prong district is trading at VND 126,000/kg, while Pleiku and La Grai districts are maintaining VND 125,900/kg.
Meanwhile, the coffee purchasing price in Kon Tum today is VND 125,900/kg.
Domestic coffee prices increased slightly by VND 200/kg today after a steep drop yesterday, holding steady around the VND 126,000/kg level.
