On September 24, 2025, prices on the global market, both the London and New York exchanges, turned sharply downward.
Specifically, Robusta prices on the London exchange for November 2025 delivery dropped by $ 162 (equivalent to 3.79%) to $ 4,118/ton. The January 2026 contract also fell steeply by $ 149 (or 3.52%) to $ 4,079/ton.
Meanwhile, on the New York exchange, Arabica prices for December 2025 delivery plunged by 17.20 cents (equivalent to 4.68%) to 350.15 cents/lb. The March 2026 contract lost 12.85 cents (or 3.69%) to 350.15 cents/lb.

Global coffee prices plunged today after U.S. President Donald Trump stated that he may meet with Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva next week. This has raised hopes that the U.S. 50% tariff on Brazilian coffee could be reconsidered.
Arabica and Robusta inventories monitored by ICE have both fallen sharply, dropping to their lowest levels in 17 months and nearly 2 months, respectively.

In Dak Lak province, the Cu Mgar area today is purchasing coffee at VND 112,000/kg, while the Ea Hleo and Buon Ho areas are trading at VND 111,900/kg.
In Dak Nong province, traders in Gia Nghia and Dak Rlap are trading at VND 112,000/kg and VND 111,900/kg, respectively.
In Gia Lai province, the Chu Prong area is trading at VND 111,500/kg, while Pleiku and La Grai are maintaining levels of VND 111,400/kg.
Meanwhile, coffee prices in Kon Tum province today are being purchased at VND 111,400/kg.
