According to Cecafe, U.S. importers have requested to delay shipments after the U.S. imposed a 50% tariff on Brazilian goods. Additionally, reports of light frost in certain Brazilian coffee regions have pushed prices higher this week, even though the harvest is still progressing smoothly.
