Globally, prices on both the London and New York exchanges continued to decline on October 8, 2025.
On the London exchange, Robusta coffee for November 2025 delivery fell by $57 (down 1.26%), to $4,414/ton, while the January 2026 contract dropped sharply by $76 (down 1.69%), to $4,388/ton.
On the New York exchange, Arabica coffee for December 2025 delivery decreased by 5.95 cents (down 1.55%), to 375.40 cents/lb, and the March 2026 contract fell by 5.8 cents (down 1.58%), to 359.15 cents/lb.

Global coffee prices recorded a second consecutive sharp decline after the Presidents of Brazil and the United States agreed to meet in person soon, raising hopes for a reconciliation of bilateral relations — currently at their most strained level in decades.
Following a video call on October 6, the Presidents of Brazil and the U.S. agreed to hold a direct meeting in the near future, marking an important shift in bilateral relations. This development is expected to pave the way for easing trade barriers — including the 50% U.S. import tariff on Brazilian coffee, which had driven Arabica prices to surge in September.
Meanwhile, coffee supplies remain tight. ICE-monitored Arabica inventories have fallen to 534,665 bags, the lowest level in 1.5 years, while Robusta inventories have dropped to their lowest point in 2.5 months.

Brazil recorded a 19.5% decrease in green coffee exports in September compared to the same period last year, while farmers are concerned that dry weather is affecting the fruit-setting process. Forecasts indicate that rain will appear in the main growing regions, but it is still insufficient to improve market sentiment.

The domestic coffee market on October 8, 2025, also turned downward compared to the previous day.
In Lam Dong Province, the areas of Di Linh, Bao Loc, and Lam Ha are all trading at VND 113,000/kg.
In Dak Lak Province, Cu M’gar is purchasing coffee at VND 114,000/kg, while Ea H’leo and Buon Ho are trading at VND 113,900/kg.
In Dak Nong Province, traders in Gia Nghia and Dak R’lap are respectively trading at VND 114,000/kg and VND 113,900/kg.
In Gia Lai Province, Chu Prong is trading at VND 113,500/kg, while Pleiku and La Grai remain at VND 113,400/kg.
Meanwhile, in Kon Tum Province, coffee is being purchased at VND 113,400/kg.
