(VAN) Coffee prices on October 9, 2025, have rebounded. Domestic coffee prices have risen by VND 1,000, trading at VND 114,000–VND 115,000/kg.

Globally, prices on both the London and New York exchanges rebounded on October 9, 2025.
On the London exchange, Robusta coffee for November 2025 delivery surged by $128 (up 2.90%) to $4,542/ton, while the January 2026 contract rose by $96 (up 2.19%) to $4,484/ton.
On the New York exchange, Arabica coffee for December 2025 delivery jumped by 9.7 cents (up 2.58%) to 385.10 cents/lb, and the March 2026 contract increased by 8.85 cents (up 2.46%) to 368 cents/lb.

Global coffee prices surged today after several consecutive days of decline. The Brazilian coffee market is currently under pressure as the Presidents of Brazil and the United States have begun negotiations. Many traders are concerned that the 50% tariff on Brazilian coffee imports to the U.S. might be reconsidered, although the outcome remains uncertain.
Forecasts indicate that the South Minas Gerais region will receive around 90 mm of rain over the next 15 days, while Cerrado Mineiro is expected to get only about 30 mm. Agricultural engineer Jonas Leme Ferraresso emphasized that at least 40–60 mm of rain is needed after flowering for optimal crop development.

Mr. Guilherme Vinicius Teixeira from Cooxupé emphasized that recent rainfall has stimulated flowering, but it is still too early to assess yield. Héberson Vilas Boas Sastre, Commercial Director, noted that uneven rainfall distribution has significantly affected the flowering process, making uniform flowering almost nonexistent.

Coffee prices on October 9 domestically
The domestic coffee market on October 9, 2025, also rose sharply compared to yesterday.
Specifically, in Lam Dong Province, the Di Linh, Bao Loc, and Lam Ha areas are all trading at VND 114,000/kg.
In Dak Lak Province, the Cu M’gar area is purchasing coffee at VND 115,000/kg, while Ea H’leo and Buon Ho are trading at VND 114,900/kg.
In Dak Nong Province, traders in Gia Nghia and Dak R’lap are respectively trading at VND 115,000/kg and VND 114,900/kg.
In Gia Lai Province, the Chu Prong area is trading at VND 114,500/kg, while Pleiku and La Grai are maintaining VND 114,400/kg.
Meanwhile, in Kon Tum Province, coffee is being purchased at VND 114,400/kg.
