Latest rubber prices on 18/03/2026 in domestic and global markets
In Thailand, key export rubber prices such as RSS3 and block rubber increased due to seasonal factors as rubber trees enter the leaf-shedding period. Meanwhile, oil prices rose by more than 2% amid concerns over supply disruptions, as the Strait of Hormuz was largely closed and U.S. allies rejected proposals to deploy warships to protect oil tankers.
In addition, several butadiene rubber production plants have had to cut output or temporarily shut down for maintenance due to shortages of input materials, as many refineries in Asia reduced capacity or declared force majeure.
This has led to increased demand shifting toward natural rubber, thereby supporting prices of this commodity, according to a trader in Singapore.
Thus, global rubber prices on 18/03/2026 continued to fluctuate in mixed directions compared to the previous day.
