(VAN) The fair will be open from May 22 to 31, 2026, in Rach Gia, showing a combination of tourism and culinary events to boost demand and attract visitors.
Aiming to boost tourism and consumer demand, the An Giang Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Center will organize the Tourism and Culinary Festival alongside the second OCOP Trade Promotion Fair – Rach Gia 2026. The event will take place at Tran Quang Khai Square, Rach Gia ward, An Giang province.
This is a key activity in the province’s 2026 trade and tourism promotion program, expected to become an attractive destination drawing large numbers of residents and visitors for sightseeing, shopping, and experiencing local cuisine and culture.

The fair is expected to feature 300 – 400 booths, arranged into various specialized zones. Highlights include a tourism exhibition area showcasing An Giang’s signature products and tour routes, and an OCOP and local specialties display area featuring a wide range of high-quality agricultural products and processed foods that reflect regional identity. In particular, the culinary zone will introduce rustic, traditional local dishes, offering visitors rich experiences of the Mekong Delta’s food culture.
Through this event, An Giang aims to boost domestic consumption, support businesses in promoting their products, and expand markets. It will also serve as an opportunity to strengthen trade connections and cooperation among businesses within and beyond the province.
The fair is expected to contribute significantly to the province’s tourism stimulus program, supporting An Giang’s goal of achieving double-digit economic growth in 2026.
The OCOP program has helped An Giang leverage its local strengths, both preserving traditional crafts and encouraging OCOP stakeholders, such as businesses, cooperatives, and production facilities, to innovate technology, improve quality, and expand scale. Many products have met standards recognized worldwide, such as VietGAP, GlobalGAP, ISO, HACCP, and HALAL, ensuring safety and traceability while meeting requirements for export market expansion.
With a structure focused on food (87.14%), beverages (7.19%), handicrafts (4.44%), and community-based and eco-tourism (0.67%), An Giang’s OCOP products are gradually affirming their value and reputation. They are frequently selected as gifts at major events and conferences, contributing to elevating the brand of An Giang’s local specialties.
An Giang currently boasts a diverse OCOP ecosystem with 14 five-star products, one potential five-star product, 27 four-star products, and 431 three-star products, developed by 276 OCOP entities, including businesses, cooperative groups, cooperatives, and production facilities. This reflects both the diversity of product categories and the steadily improving quality.
