(VAN) Viet Nam Dairy 2026 will boost trade, connect businesses, and expand markets, helping guide Vietnam’s dairy industry toward sustainable growth.
As announced at a press conference on April 8 in Hanoi, the Viet Nam Dairy Association (VDA), in coordination with Viet Nam National Trade Fair & Advertising Company (VIETFAIR), plans to organize the fifth International Exhibition on Dairy and Dairy Products in Viet Nam (Viet Nam Dairy 2026).
The event will take place from May 28 to 31, 2026, at the Viet Nam-Soviet Friendship Cultural Palace in Hanoi. It is a large-scale specialized exhibition aimed at promoting trade, connecting businesses, and supporting the sustainable development of Viet Nam’s dairy industry.

According to Dr. Tran Quang Trung, Chairman of the Viet Nam Dairy Association, Viet Nam’s dairy industry has recorded notable progress in recent years in terms of market scale, production capacity, and product quality. While milk products once mainly served specific groups, they are now widely consumed, meeting most domestic demand and gradually approaching international standards.
Alongside the growth of domestic enterprises, foreign-invested enterprises (FDI) also play an important role, contributing to product diversification and strengthening the industry’s competitiveness. In addition to traditional dairy products, new segments such as ice cream, milk tea, and modern beverages are expanding rapidly, broadening the consumer ecosystem and adding value to the sector.
Chairman Tran Quang Trung also expresses concerns. The dairy industry is facing numerous challenges, including rising demands for quality, food safety, and traceability, as well as pressure to transition toward sustainable development. Amid global fluctuations, particularly regarding energy and environmental issues, adopting renewable energy and pursuing net-zero emissions targets in dairy production have become both urgent requirements and opportunities for innovation.

In this context, Viet Nam Dairy 2026 will, for the first time, expand into a series of specialized exhibitions, including the Viet Nam Ice Cream Exhibition 2026 and the Milk Tea & Modern Beverage Exhibition. The aim is to create a platform for business connections, technological innovation, and the development of related industries.
The exhibition will cover around 4,000 m² with nearly 250 booths, bringing together companies from many countries and territories. Display areas will be arranged along the dairy industry value chain, including dairy products, raw materials, processing technologies, packaging, quality testing, environmental solutions, livestock farming, and sustainable development.
During the event, a range of professional activities will take place, such as seminars on circular economy in the dairy industry, processing and packaging technologies, international trade forums, and networking sessions connecting businesses with distribution systems and import–export partners. These activities are expected to help enterprises expand markets, enhance competitiveness, and access new technologies.
Alongside trade promotion activities, the exhibition will also organize programs on nutrition consulting, healthcare guidance, dairy product usage, and livestock technical consultation, helping disseminate knowledge and raise community awareness.
Viet Nam Dairy 2026 is expected to attract more than 15,000 domestic and international visitors. The event is supported by major brands such as Vinamilk, Tetra Pak, Nestlé, FrieslandCampina, and Nutricare, highlighting the exhibition’s appeal and its role as a connector for the dairy industry.
Vinamilk will participate in the exhibition with a booth designed around the theme “Vinamilk – 50 Years of Dedication,” showcasing its development alongside Viet Nam’s dairy industry. The booth will display a wide range of key product categories, including condensed milk, powdered milk, yogurt, plant-based milk, and more, while also incorporating interactive and experiential activities for visitors.
“Vinamilk has always strived to accompany the country’s development and elevate Viet Nam’s dairy industry to the global stage. The company has been recognized as a National Brand for 16 consecutive years, ranked as the most chosen dairy brand in Viet Nam, listed among the world’s top 36 dairy companies, and has exported to 65 countries,” said Pham Tuyen, Director of Vinamilk’s Hanoi Branch.

In addition to showcasing improved products, the company will continue to create impressions through interactive activities, product experiences, and initiatives linked to sustainable development.
Through these activities, Vinamilk aims to spread the message of a brand that constantly innovates for community health and environmental sustainability. By participating in the exhibition under the theme “Dairy Value Chain – Innovation and Sustainable Development 2026,” Vinamilk expects to further affirm its position in the industry.
