Latest Arabica and Robusta prices on July 10, 2026
Global coffee prices rebounded sharply today, led by Arabica, which surged by more than 10%, erasing the previous session’s steep losses. The rally was driven by growing investor concerns over unfavorable weather in Brazil and the potential return of El Niño.
High humidity and prolonged rainfall have disrupted the harvest, while the U.S. Climate Prediction Center forecasts an 81% probability of a very strong El Niño developing between October and December, raising concerns over global coffee supplies.
The rally also received technical support after Arabica prices moved above their long-term moving averages. According to Mr. Igor Bragato, an analyst at Coffee Trading Academy, this signals that the previous downtrend is weakening and has encouraged speculative funds and investors to increase their long positions.
However, brokerage firm ADMIS believes the market has overreacted to reports of slower harvesting in Brazil. The firm noted that weather conditions have improved over the past two weeks and that the more than 16% rise in coffee prices is difficult to justify, although heavy rainfall in June may have had some impact on the crop.

Coffee prices on July 10, 2026: Latest domestic and global updates
Meanwhile, Cooxupé-Brazil’s largest coffee cooperative, reported that, as of early July, its members had harvested only 30.9% of the crop, significantly behind the pace recorded during the same period last year and marking the slowest harvest progress since 2018.
According to traders, the rainfall has mainly delayed the flow of coffee to the market rather than reducing production. Nevertheless, bean quality may be affected because many ripe cherries have fallen to the ground during the prolonged rainy period, reducing the commercial value of the harvest.
Thus, global coffee prices on July 10, 2026, rose sharply compared with the previous day.
