(VAN) Global rubber prices on July 29, 2026, showed signs of recovery. Domestic rubber latex prices remained unchanged, trading at around VND 458-540/TSC.
Rubber prices on July 29 globally
In the global market, rubber prices showed a more positive trend.
At the time of the survey, the August 2026 RSS3 contract on the Tokyo Commodity Exchange (TOCOM) gained JPY 2.7, or 0.65%, to JPY 419.9/kg.
Meanwhile, the August 2026 rubber futures contract in Thailand remained unchanged at THB 90.6/kg.
In China, the August 2026 rubber contract rebounded by CNY 20, or 0.12%, to CNY 16,710/ton.
Global rubber prices today were unchanged in Thailand but moved higher in China and Japan as renewed U.S.-China trade tensions influenced market sentiment.
Oil prices declined on expectations of easing tensions between the United States and Iran, along with a more stable global energy supply outlook. Meanwhile, concerns over renewed U.S.–China trade frictions continued to weigh on investor confidence. However, stronger-than-expected U.S. economic data provided some support to the market.
In Liberia, the government has recently banned the export of raw rubber to promote downstream processing and support the development of the country’s domestic tire manufacturing industry.
Thus, global rubber prices on July 29, 2026 posted gains compared with the previous trading session.
Rubber prices on July 29 domestically
In the domestic market, rubber prices continued to move sideways from the previous day.
Accordingly, Mang Yang Rubber Company is purchasing liquid latex at VND 458-463/TSC, while mixed coagulated rubber is being purchased at around VND 404-459/DRC.
At Binh Long Rubber Company, latex is priced at VND 540/TSC at the factory and VND 530/TSC at production teams. Mixed rubber with 60% DRC is priced at VND 18,000/kg.
On the evening of July 27, the Vietnam Rubber Trade Union held a ceremony to commemorate the 97th anniversary of the Vietnam Trade Union, while also reviewing the Workers’ Month, the Month of Action on Occupational Safety and Health 2026, and closing the Regional IV Rubber Industry Workers’ Performance Festival.
After three days of competition, the two first prizes were awarded to the Vietnam Rubber Group (VRG) and Phu Rieng Rubber One Member Co., Ltd. The organizing committee also honored numerous teams with second, third, and consolation prizes across different competition clusters, while presenting 30 performance awards, including gold, silver, and bronze medals, along with consolation prizes for outstanding performances.

According to VRG’s leadership, this year’s festival brought together 73 units, 65 amateur performing arts teams, more than 1,000 non-professional performers, and 227 performances, creating a vibrant platform for cultural exchange and helping promote cultural life throughout the rubber industry. Programs livestreamed on digital platforms also attracted tens of thousands of interactions, demonstrating the strong appeal of workers’ cultural activities.
